What problems does it help?

Do you have difficulty with picking up your foot when you walk?  Can you sit and move your ankle, but yet that doesn’t seem to work when you walk?  If so, this wearable stochastic resonance vibration may be for you.  This type of vibration helps your body figure out where it is in space (proprioception), which in turns aids balance and mobility.

Stochastic resonance vibration is not about what condition you might be diagnosed with, but rather what physical problem you are trying to solve. If you cannot move your foot or leg, SR vibration won’t move it either. If you can move it, just not at the right time then SR vibration may be for you.

Accelera’s wearable device technology was developed by Harvard University and licensed by Accelera. Our version 1 device that was sold previously is now sold out. The next generation device with better battery life and comfort is now available for pre-order and will begin shipping soon.

Wear it all day every day. Awareness is not something you do for a quick 15 minute “exercise” session only. We need awareness inputs all day while we go about everyday activities.

You should NOT feel the vibration when wearing the devices. It is meant to be subsensory and not something you are consciously aware of when it is on.  Research shows more is not better when it comes to the settings.  Make sure when you put it on your arms or legs that you are not feeling the vibration, and use your app to turn it down if you begin to be aware of the vibration. The biggest mistake we see with using this technology is people turning it up too high or not wearing it enough.

Battery life is meant to be all day, and varies with your chosen intensity settings. For example, using the system around a 50% intensity on average is about a 14 hour life.

Devices are shipped via UPS from the Eastern United States. When you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email. When your device ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow your system shipment.

This device does not require a prescription and therefore Accelera does not submit to insurance companies.  The system is eligible for HSA or FSA fund reimbursement.

If you have read our FAQ on how this device works and still have questions on whether this may work for you, please reach out to discuss your individual situation.  The Proprio System comes in a pair for $399.  If you wear it for 30 days consecutively for a majority of the day and see no results, and we have not been able to help you make changes to get improvement, then you may return it and receive $329 back once we have confirmed receiving your return.  Returns will not be processed for anyone who has not contacted us for setup help or who has not worn it consecutively for 30 days.

The Proprio system comes with 2 wearable devices, one for each side. It requires an App from the Apple App store or Google Play store to set it. This app to control the device is a free download. Like any fabric, users should expect to replace their band as it wears out.
